About 3 weeks ago on March 26th, 2 tornados jumped their way through our part of
Georgia. The storm was on us so fast and without warning that I could not get
home to be with my family. Our neighborhood was hammered with golf ball size
hail. When I finally reach home, the neighborhood looked like a winter wonder
land. We just received confirmation from our homeowners insurance that our roof
is a total loss. Aside from the inconvenience of contractors on the roof, we
have no worries. Through our HomeTec Protector Plan, we will be reimbursed $1000
which covers our deductible. Adding the $1000 deductible reimbursement to
approximately $200 saved on electrical repairs, we have already saved

I live in Texas and we had had cool weather, so there was no need for
ActionController. We had a heat wave come through and I turned on the AC and
nothing. I called My HVAC Company and was told my condenser in my AC unit was
out. It was going to cost $2100-$2300 to replace it and with the summer coming
up I had to get it replaced before we started hitting 100 degree days. I called

Last year our son hit a deer with his car causing $2500 in damage. We had
automobile insurance but we also had a $1000 deductible. We had the car repaired
and filed our claim with HomeTec’s “Automobile Deductible Reimbursement Benefit”

I bought my HomeTec Protector Membership December of 2010 and at the time I did
not realize all of the benefits that I would actually use. My air conditioning
went out and all I was charged $75 out of the original $400. I also had to file
a claim on my car due to a sand truck chipping the side of my car. I had a $500
deductible but because of HomeTec I received that back through my Auto
Deductible Reimbursement. I have recently bought a new TV, theater system, a
blue ray disk and have saved around $200 in warranties because with HomeTec, it
gave me an extra 12 months of the manufacturers warranty on all of the items
that I purchased. To top everything off there was a hail storm that destroyed my
